Learn To Sacrifice!
No one sets a goal and achieves it effortlessly! More often than not, we fail, restart, fail again and once again start over.
It takes sacrifice…and a lot of it. For instance, if you want to quit smoking…you give up hanging out with your friends that smoke. Same story if you tend to overeat and drink with friends…that becomes a rarity instead of a weekly ritual.
For me, I set for myself physical and financial goals. In order to achieve them, I had to give up eating out and watching TV. Instead, we ate at home and spent that time working or with the kiddos.
At first, I felt deprived but kept saying in a positive manner…this is better for me and my family and it WILL pay off. Guess what, it did BIG TIME!
