Your body just knows when the end of September or the first of October is here. The trees start to turn colors, morning and evening air is crisp and the anxiousness hits us of all the approaching Holidays! You can’t help but take notice that yet another year is about to wrap things up.

It wasn’t long ago (nearly 350 years) that people became so inspired to formally “Give Thanks.” It led me to ask myself are as many people as thankful today? I think times were much simpler then, right? No computers, Internet, Cell Phones or TV’s. Also, No heat, Air conditioning, Electricity, or even Running Water. Distractions of today… and from what? Financial freedom.

It amazes me how everything runs a full circle. Hundreds of years ago people HAD TO “network” to survive. Meaning if you didn’t get out there and literally let people know what you did, had, or services you could offer, you would expire. The individuals that also figured out how to “market” their skill or product leading others talk about or recommend what they did eventually defined their business (naturally). The good ones became wealthy and the bad were chased out of town. frown

So here we are today at the end of 2012 with flying cars and magic pills, right! wink A reflective moment allows me to clearly define my own success. My husband and I both run businesses. He has a marketing one and as for me, more of a network one. With a combined income of just shy of seven (7) digits we have finally figured out what got us there… Network Marketing. I know, scary word huh? Did you notice paragraph three, our founders that built this nation & became successful from either networking or marketing. The wealthy ones then and now are those that were blessed enough to learn to merge them together!

Let’s peel that onion. My husband provides a very unique product but needs the right people see it to appreciate it and just telling people in Dallas wouldn’t cut it. A little thing called Ebay (you might have heard of it) allows worldwide marketing AND the networking in the areas he needs to be successful. I on the other hand, provide a specialty service, the company I work with produces ALL the products, packages, advertises and ships! But, without networking and getting across what “I do” to my audience via Internet, Facebook, Twitter (again beyond just local) I would fail. Though our businesses are polar opposites without Network/Marketing they would just be an idea rather than giving us the financial freedom they provide.

Your service is a thing and it HAS value! In five years I have taught myself this. I too fought it in the beginning (Like 99% of people) but when you can just let that sink in is when your “dream” starts to grow into reality! Guess what –
The secret is that YOU have the talent to be wealthy. Not someone like you… YOU!

Ask yourself:

~Will my current job retire me, allowing you to make enough to live out your life in full?
~Would I even miss my current job? Is my job one that is fulfilling and exciting that I actually enjoy?
~Do I make enough? I mean enough… To drive what I want, get my kids what they want and have a savings?
~Do I find myself short on time, missing kids events, no energy left after work?

Why? Why are you choosing that? It is a choice.

So many give up before even trying or worse, right before they succeed. It has absolutely amazed me to watch the hundreds of people over the years I helped convert from J.O.B (just over broke) to F.R.E.E. (finally reaching early eternity). Nothing can compare to doing it for yourself and I would love, love, love to help you get yours!

In the end I never claimed to have all the answers, but I do know this:

1. I love my Husband.
2. I love my Kids.
3. I love my Life.
4. I thank God for the first three.

Chow Down on Garlic
Vampires aren’t the only ones scared off by garlic. Viruses are terrified of it as well! A handful of studies have been done to try and determine if—and why—garlic can help prevent the common cold, and while scientists haven’t weighed definitively on this subject, published studies have shown that those who took a garlic supplement got sick less and recovered faster3. Plus, it can help open up your clogged sinuses if you’re already feeling under the weather. As if you really needed another reason to add it to your breakfast scramble and delicious fall dishes.

How should you eat it? According to Dr. David W. Krauss, associate professor of environmental science and biology at the University of Alabama, it’s best to crush it at room temperature and let it rest for 15 minutes before using it to trigger the release of its immune-boosting compounds4.

White fish, potatoes, asparagus and mushrooms seasoned and wrapped in foil. Bake for 40 minutes at 375 degrees! ENJOY!

Quick Recipe

Omelet Muffins

~Fill muffin pan 3/4 of the way up with egg whites
~Add spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers or any vegetables you like
~Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes

These are a great source of protein, quick and very filling! At about 150 calories a piece…you can’t go wrong!
