As parents, we are in complete control of what goes into our children’s growing bodies. It’s always such a struggle for me to agree with the Mom or Dad that tells me they HAVE TO give their kids the mac & cheese, chicken nuggets or pizza because they won’t eat anything else. I call BS!! Who’s the boss and since when is it ok for us parents to “ok” a habit that (if continued through their teens years) will cause obesity, type II diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol problems! Lead by example, create good habits early and don’t give in to the pressures of an instant gratification society and temper tantrum throwing kiddo!
